Even voorstellen: Sabrina Angehrn

Van Zijderveld heeft zich deze week versterkt met Sabrina Angehrn (29), speeltser uit de Zwitserse competitie. Van Zijderveld heet haar van Harte welkom! Hiermee is Van Zijderveld team 1 gereed voor de Eredivisie competitie en kick-off op 9 september 2017. 

Sabrina stelt zich voor

" I started playing badminton when I was a child because my dad was playing. I started in a small village where I lived. The sport became really important to me, so I trained more and more. I did the sports school and could practise a lot.

At 16 years I started playing in the highest league in Switzerland for my hometown Basel. After finishing the sports school, I spent one year in Denmark to play badminton on the highest level. I was in an Academy and lived with some international players and trained two or three times a day. It was a great experience.

After that, I studied economics at a university. I finished this summer. Besides the university, I had the possibility to train with Don at CBA.

Right now I am working for 60% at an office in Finance, so I can still practise a lot in the CBA with Don and the others.

I played many years for the National Team from U13 until Elite. But then my focus was on the university. My club in Switzerland is BC Spiez, where I play in the second highest league. Our goal is to promote to the highest league. Often I play single and double, but I really also like to play mixed.
