Monday

  • 10.00 - 11.30 Hrs
    DAYTIME RECREATIONAL PLAY
    1. Recreational players without instruction are using 4 competition courses;
    2. 4 courts are available for other players;
    3. First moment of play: Monday, July 6th.
    4. FYI: Monday morning, August 10th, sports hall De Meerkamp will not be available to play badminton.

  • 17.00 – 18.15 Hrs
    TRAINING YOUTH
    1. Youth training starts and ends promptly at specified times;
    2. Youth players immediately leave the hall afterwards;
    3. Youth training period: July 6 to August 13.

  • 18.30 – 20.00 Hrs
    FREE SENIORS RECREATION AND COMPETITION PLAYERS
    1. Arrive no more than 5 minutes before the start of the playing time (give youth the space to leave the hall);
    2. Bring your own shuttles;
    3. Summer badminton period: July 6 to July 31.
Location: Sports hall De Meerkamp.

Thursday

Guidelines for playing badminton in coronavirus times

Basic rules
  • Do you have signs of any illness: stay at home and have yourself tested as soon as possible;
  • If one of your housemates has signs of any illness: stay at home and have him / her tested as soon as possible;
  • Keep 1.5 meters away from others (outside the badminton court);
  • Sneeze into your elbow;
  • Wash your hands often;
  • Avoid busy places (in the sports hall);
  • Chants, loud singing or screaming in a group is not allowed.
Who can play?

The youth training and free play for senior recreational and league players is only for members of badminton club Van Zijderveld.

Code of conduct

If you come to train or unlock and all courts are occupied, you will take a seat in the stands taking into account the 1.5 meter distance.

When your match is ready and all the courts are in use, you make way for the people waiting in the stands. You take a seat in the stands to wait for your next turn.

Which spaces are open?

The dressing rooms and toilets are also open, but keep your distance of 1.5 meters at all times.

Hygiene

There are bottles of disinfection gel next to the competition courts. You should use this in between to clean your hands. This for your own hygiene and that of others in regard to contact with game materials.

Disinfection spray

In the sports hall, surface disinfection spray is available for larger surfaces and objects. This is mainly used when building and dismantling the badminton courts (nets and poles).
